Springfield ReManufacturing Corp Announces Executive Management Changes
Springfield, MO 8/7/2019 - Springfield Remanufacturing Corp. (also referred to as SRC Heavy Duty), one of 12 subsidiaries of SRC, is pleased to announce the most current top line internal promotions within their organization.
These promotions reflect the organization’s design changes of the first phase of SRC Heavy Duty’s ten-year plan to accelerate growth in both the Whole Goods division and Engines and Components division within the SRC Family of Companies.
Chad Myers has been promoted to SRC Holdings as the Executive Vice President of SRC Heavy Duty Engines and Components as well as SRC Heavy Duty Whole Goods. Chad has 10 years of experience with SRC. He has most recently served as General Manager of Heavy Duty leading his team to over $100 million in sales in 2018.
Chris Kleinfeld has been promoted to General Manager of SRC Heavy Duty Engines and Components. Chris started in the automotive powertrain industry at 17 years of age. His career has been focused on internal combustion engines. Chris started at SRC in a turbo engineering position and was promoted to Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the turbo product. Chris then acquired all engineering management responsibility for the HD division. For the past 3 years, he has served as Director of Engineering. “I’m honored and humbled to serve in such a capacity. Our future is rich with opportunity, and we are absolutely blessed with the right people to go make it a reality!” says Chris.
James Chandler has been promoted to the General Manager of SRC Heavy Duty Whole Goods. James started with SRC 23 years ago as a parts cleaner on second shift and worked his way through Heavy Duty via the DYNO, Group Lead, Scheduler, Warranty, Supervisor, Site Manager, and now the GM of the Whole Goods business. James says, “Diversifying our business will be key to our growth and sustainability. We currently have a strong Whole Goods program with our partners, Sullair and Leading Edge, as well as other opportunities of collaborations in our pipeline.”
Spencer Cunningham has been promoted to General Manager of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for both the Whole Goods division and the Engines and Components division. Spencer has 13 years of experience within SRC. He started with a former division of SRC as an accounting intern, moved into supply chain and then served as Operations Manager. Cunningham began working at SRC’s Heavy Duty Division as an Account Manager within Supply Chain. He was promoted to Business Unit Manager of Turbocharger and Whole Goods, and again to Director of Sales and Marketing in 2017 before his current promotion to General Manager. Spencer says, “Collectively, we are extremely excited about the growth and expansion of SRC Heavy Duty over the last two years. We have added hundreds of jobs to our community, we have several new customers in the pipeline, and with our current customer base, we will continue to launch additional programs. It is an exciting time to be part of SRC Heavy Duty!”
Chad Myers added, “All of these changes are being made to continue and accelerate our commitments we have made to our customers and our shareholders. Every change detailed above has that sole purpose in mind, deliver on our promises.”
